What if the design I need is not included ?

Our designs cover the vast majority of structural issues that 
are likely to come up with residential buildings, based on 
many years of experience, but there are always unusual jobs 
that don't fit and particular category.  If what you need is not 
on our website, please send us the details and will give you a 
quote straight away.  If we think it is something that other 
people may want , then we will add it to our list of designs.

Do I just get a computer printout ?

No.  We use computers programmes when they save time 
and give good results. Computer programmes are integrated 
into our design process rather than our designs being 
produced by a computer programme.  Even in this day and 
age it is still quicker and more cost effective to do some 
calculations by hand.  Most of our calculations involve manual 
calculations as much as computer printouts.

Do I need to give my builder a copy of the calculations?

No.  All the builder needs is the details at the front of the 
calculations.  These will have SK pages references in the top 
right hand side corner (eg SK01, SK02 etc).  The full package 
is needed for any Building Regulation application.
