Latest projects
In 2007 we completed over 190 individual projects of varying
sizes, for 28 different
Clients. Projects have
included designing the necessary
strengthening work for a
reinforced concrete framed
building damaged by fire (see
right),
reporting on the structural
damage which has affected a
Midlands housing estate, several
new commercial buildings and
extensions, over 70 structural
surveys and reports, over 100 small
structural design jobs, several
overhead crane designs, several
site investigations, several
flood study reports and drainage
feasibility studies.

Our brief was to make a
structural assessment of the
building following a serious
fire and to determine
whether the building could
be economically repaired.
Following our detailed
investigations, a schedule
of repairs was drawn up and
the concrete repairs were
carried out at the end of
2007, followed by full scale
load tests, to confirm the
adequacy of the repairs and
the integrity of the
structural frame. The pub is
due to reopen in February
2008 following a complete
refurbishment.
