Fees
We offer excellent value for money and we are happy to take on as much or as little of the project as you want. We will provide you with a fixed price quotation before starting the work, or if you prefer (or the project can't be defined) then we will work on an agreed hourly rate. For Clients without an account with us, payment is normally required when the work is completed, prior to it being issued. Payments may be made by cheque, credit card or bank transfer.

To provide you with a quote we need to make an assessment of the time we will need to spend on the particular job. For structural work, if you have Architects drawings then this is usually enough. If these can be emailed to us together with a brief note on what you want us to do, then we will provide a quotation by return. For residential structural surveys please see our price lists here:

For civil projects, if you can let us have as much information as you have (eg planning conditions, Environment Agency requirements, site survey information etc) then we can discuss the project with you and normally provide a quotation within a few days.

For projects where frequent site visits or regular inspections are required, then the distance from our base has an important bearing on our fees. Typically our fees are very competitive within a 50 miles radius of Ashby. This area covers most of the Midlands.

For design jobs, the location of the project does not affect our fees. These jobs are done from our base irrespective of where the actual project is. Most of the coordination can be done efficiently by email.
